Our grille cleaner stake is made from a stainless shaft with an offset plate. When the offset plate is placed between the grille bars you are able to generate enough leverage to open up the gap between the bars allowing any rocks to drop out.
As a secondary function, another plate is welded to the top providing a decent sized head so the stake can be hammered into the ground and used to tie your boat up to.
