In 2006 SSS Engineering was established in Christchurch. The goal was to offer a better engineering solution by focusing on quality and precision.
SSS Engineering is a family business owned and operated by three “Smith’s” that’s where the “Triple S” part of our name comes from. Ken Smith (Father) & 2x sons Mike & Nick.
Started initially as purely a precision engineering workshop with a background/interest in marine related work. Industrial repairs & maintenance provided our main income during the early years. Ken always believed that the business needed to have its own marine product range to add what the team felt as a lack of high quality, well designed parts in the New Zealand market. Over the years we have designed and added many new marine related products to our catalogue and now out product range has seen our work load reverse with more being marine related work.
In April 2010 with SSS Engineerings reputation growing world wide the workshop was doubled size. Ever since we have been exporting our unique brand of high quality and our family business all around the world. We have distributors in America and Australia.
